The federal vaccination by age over time chart is now getting updated every other week, so you only get the wastewater chart.

Why do I make a post that is so small? Because wastewater data — noisy as it is — is one of the most meaningful data sources which we have. The case data is compromised because the province isn’t testing widely and the death data is flakey — the current week’s report’s number for last week’s deaths never matches last week’s report of the current week’s deaths. They used to report the number in the ICU, but now they are reporting the number “in critical care” and nobody knows what that means. The number currently hospitalized is probably reliable, but it’s a lagging indicator. Wastewater is the only objective current indicator which has not changed significantly over the course of the pandemic.
