This article reports that Burnaby Hospital had a third COVID outbreak in three weeks. It mentioned that they are doing “enhanced cleaning” — but are they wearing masks again? Are they filtering the air?

I refreshed the Situation Report, expecting to see nothing, but instead saw:
Data presented are up to the end of reporting period of epi-week 17 (April 23-29, 2023). This off-cycle update resolves system transition issues affecting weekly and cumulative data tables that were previously reported on 4 May 2023.
The next update will be 1 June.
As of today, the BC CDC situation report says that in the week ending on 29 April there were: +636 reported cases, +210 hospital admissions, +20 ICU admissions, +58 thirty-day all-cause deaths*.
As of today, the situation report says that the previous week (data through April 22) there were: +530 reported cases, +169 hospital admissions, +23 ICU admissions, +17 all-cause deaths*.
As of 4 May, the BC CDC situation report said that in the week ending on 29 April there were: +636 reported cases, +175 hospital admissions, +16 ICU admissions, +42 thirty-day all-cause deaths*.
As of 4 May, the situation report said that the previous week (data through April 22) there were: +530 reported cases, +172 hospital admissions, +16 ICU admissions, +28 all-cause deaths*.
*All-cause deaths in people who had a positive COVID-19 test in the prior 30 days, that is.

From Jeff’s wastewater spreadsheet. it sure looks like the wastewater levels are decreasing. This is great news! (Recognize that the case data is through 29 April and the wastewater data is through 15 May.)
