Pretty much every viral pathogen except for Entero/rhinovirus that BC tracks is bouncing around at a low level. Entero/rhinovirus is the only one with more than 50 cases per week. Note that this chart’s vertical scale only goes to 200 cases per week:
For reference, this chart’s vertical scale goes to 2000 cases per week and still doesn’t get the top of the Feb 2025 influenza peak. Levels of confirmed cases of respiratory viruses are still really low right now.
In the most recent data (ending 2 June 2026) as reported on 2 July 2026, among respiratory virus cases that the province has test data for:
- 40.3% were entero/rhinoviruses;
- 19.4% were parainfluenza;
- 14.1% were influenza A or B (mostly B);
- 11.7% were COVID-19;
- 4.4% were adenoviruses;
- 3.4% were “common cold” coronaviruses;
- 3.9% were metapneumonia viruses;
- 2.9% were RSV.
Wastewater
Wastewater levels of COVID-19 are bouncing around. Maybe it’s going up a little in Fraser, but it’s starting from such a low level that I don’t think it’s worth worrying about.
