COVID-19 and parainfluenza stayed stable; everything else fell.

In the most recent data (ending 28 March 2026) as reported on 2 April 2026, among influenza-like illness (i.e respiratory diseases) cases that the province has test data for:

  • 30.1% were influenza A or B (mostly B);
  • 28.8% were RSV;
  • 8.7% were COVID-19;
  • 9.5% were metapneumonia viruses;
  • 8.5% were entero/rhinoviruses;
  • 9.8% were “common cold” coronaviruses;
  • 2.4% were parainfluenza;
  • 2.2% were adenoviruses.

Wastewater

Wastewater is still wobbling around. This week it looks like it is going down, but I don’t trust that trend either.
