Influenza is still here but keeps dropping; COVID-19 levels are pretty much static.

Mpox

This article (2025-04-08) says that mpox cases are ticking up, and the province is urging people in high-risk groups to get an mpox vaccination.. Most of the cases have been men who have sex with men, mostly in Vancouver Health.

In the most recent data (ending 5 April) as reported on 10 April 2025, among influenza-like illness (i.e upper respiratory diseases) cases the province has test data for:

  • 44.93% were influenza A or B;
  • 14.53% were RSV;
  • 8.06% were COVID-19;
  • 13.68% were entero/rhinoviruses;
  • 5.52% were “common cold” coronaviruses;
  • 6.96% were metapneumonia viruses;
  • adenoviruses and parainfluenza were under 3%.
