About half of upper respiratory cases are COVID-19; about a quarter are entero or rhinoviruses; about a quarter are “everything else”.

In the most recent data (ending 2 August) as reported on 7 June 2025, among influenza-like illness (i.e upper respiratory diseases) cases the province has test data for:
- 53.6% were COVID-19;
- 23.2% were entero/rhinoviruses;
- 8.0% were parainfluenza;
- 5.9% were influenza A or B;
- 3.7% were adenoviruses;
- 2.5% were RSV;
- 2.2% were metapneumonia viruses;
- 0.9% were “common cold” coronaviruses.
