If you haven’t gotten your flu shot yet, now would be a good time. It looks to me like flu cases are about to shoot up. There are now more flu cases than COVID-19 cases.

COVID-19 is clearly declining.

COVID-19

Charts

From the Viral Pathogen Characterization page:

Last week’s numbers were adjusted up quite a bit, especially for flu and COVID-19.

I don’t like the province’s charts, so I make my own with their data.

In the most recent data (ending 22 Nov) as reported on 27 Nov 2025, among influenza-like illness (i.e upper respiratory diseases) cases the province has test data for:

  • 22.4% were COVID-19;
  • 27.1% were influenza A or B;
  • 25.9% were entero/rhinoviruses;
  • 12.9% were RSV;
  • 7.7% were parainfluenza;0.3% were metapneumonia viruses;
  • 1.9% were adenoviruses;
  • 2.1% were metapneumonia viruses;
  • 0.0% were “common cold” coronaviruses.
