Vaccination Clinics

BC has officially passed 50% of the eligible population vaccinated with at least one dose! Yay!!

They are pausing giving AZ as first doses today, ostensibly to save the remaining doses for second doses.

Later today, people under 30 will be able to book appointments. We are FLYING through the cohorts now!

Someone asked me if we were flying through the cohorts because we had lots of vax or because people weren’t taking the vax. I think it is because we have a lot of vax, but I can’t tell for sure.

Mitigation Measures

They are proposing a law that if you don’t pay your fines for not following COVID-19 guidelines you can’t be able to renew your driver’s or vehicle license.

We have 44,061 AZ doses in the fridges; we’ll use it up in 31.4 days at last week’s rate, but we won’t continue at last week’s rate because BC is not giving more AZ first doses.
